Purpose of this site

Jeldavo is an independent, editorial trip-planning guide to the Matterhorn and Zermatt, with a catalogue of hotels. It is not affiliated with, operated by, or endorsed by Zermatt Tourism, Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn, Zermatt Bergbahnen, SBB, or any hotel, transport or accommodation provider.

The hotel catalogue

The catalogue lists hotels for information only. We do not take reservations or payments, we show no live prices or availability, and we do not guarantee that any hotel has rooms. A reservation is a contract between you and the hotel, on the hotel's terms; we are not a party to it and are not responsible for rates, taxes, fees, cancellation rules or the quality of your stay. Descriptions, facilities, room types, distances, contact details and photos come from third parties, mainly Hotelbeds, and may be incomplete or out of date; star categories and distances are indicative. Being listed does not mean a hotel pays us. Hotel names, brands, logos and photos belong to their owners and are used only to identify the properties described. Confirm anything that matters with the hotel before you rely on it.

Accuracy of information

Content on this site — including timetables, journey times, elevations and opening dates — is compiled from public sources and kept reasonably current, but schedules, prices, lift hours and visitor policies can change without notice. Always confirm time-sensitive details directly with the relevant operator before you travel.

No booking services

This site does not process bookings, payments, or reservations of any kind. Any transaction for tickets, transport, or accommodation happens directly between you and the relevant third party.
