About the hotel
The Mürren Palace is rooted in the history of the mountain village and the breathtaking beauty of its surroundings. The success story of alpine skiing began in Mürren at the beginning of the 20th century. The Palace Hotel was the meeting place for the ski racing pioneers of the time, most of whom were British. It is the historic site of their friendships, the center of the village and a meeting place. Sporting spirit and friendship are more important here than status. Our aim is to lead the 150-year history of the hotel, which is closely linked to Mürren, into a successful and sustainable future. For guests and locals alike, the Mürren Palace will once again become a unique “place to be”.
